About Me
I believe every person is created to make a difference. Yet for many, anxiety, fear, depression, trauma, and marital struggles can feel overwhelming—making it difficult to step into the life they were meant to live. My work as a counselor is centered on helping individuals and couples move through those barriers so they can experience greater freedom, clarity, and purpose.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent 20 years serving in the local church. That season shaped my understanding of people, relationships, and the deep connection between emotional and spiritual well-being. I transitioned into professional counseling to provide focused, clinically grounded care that helps individuals and marriages move toward lasting change and restoration.
For the past 9 years, I have worked with clients facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Component-based Processing for trauma, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Gottman Method Marriage Therapy, and Prepare/Enrich for premarital counseling. I also have extensive training in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. Faith and spirituality provide meaning and purpose for many. It can also mean hurt and pain for some. No matter where you are in a faith journey from a specific faith belief to none at all, I am trained and equipped to integrate that into your therapy. I aim to tailor each session to your unique needs while offering practical tools and meaningful insight.
My goal is simple: to help you experience a life that is moving upward—one marked by growth, resilience, and the ability to live out the difference you were created to make.
